Hello, I’m Dagmar Lohnes, your German Teacher

 

I am a Munich native and have been passionate about languages all my life. I myself speak French, Italian and some Persian, next to my mother tongue German, of course.

 

After a professional career spanning 25 years in the private sector both in China, Singapore and in private sector development in Afghanistan, I decided to make my passion my new career.

As such I have been teaching German as a foreign language professionally for the past seven years as a freelancer.

“DL German Language Training” is a freelancer business conducted under a Sole Professional License issued by the Dubai Development Authority.

 

German is a difficult language, and it is paramount that students start off right from the beginning, laying a solid foundation on which they build their progress both before and after going to Germany. All my lessons are based on the official European CEFR standards, A1-B2

 

Based on my experience and training in teaching German, I can provide said foundation with structured lessons which include both grammar and conversation in an engaging fashion.

 

We will further prepare for the relevant official language tests at the Goethe Institut as and when required.
